Mars Stands Before Taurus; Passion and Will!

As Mars crosses over to stand before Taurus (the dwelling space of the Spiritual Hierarchy ‘The Holy Spirit’) this is an excellent time to work with the earth, the Holy Spirit of the earth. When we passionately work in harmony and Love with our will upon and with the earth, our spirit and the spirit of the earth collaborate to do good for the world…. This is a good time for working with the Holy Spirit in all matters… money/resources as an energetic exchange, our bodies, healthy appetites for the foods we are nourished by of the earth, stamina, exercise, developing the skills and talents to peacefully express ourselves, music and art as a good outlet and of course working in harmony with the plant kingdom, Mother Natura.

Mars’ fire and Taurus’ earth’s dynamic connection encourages grounded enthusiasm and constructive activity by means of which real results and stable resource management may develop. Finding balance with Mars dynamic drive with Taurus’ calm character will support lasting and effective good deeds and good speech.

Rudolf Steiner offers this as the individuality of Mars; “Mars is the most talkative chatterbox planet in our system, and he is particularly active when sleeping human beings talk during dreaming. Mars has a great longing to be talking always, and whenever some quality in human nature enables him to make a man loquacious, he stimulates this tendency. Mars has his good and his less-good sides; he has his genius and his daemon. His genius works in such a way that men receive from the universe the impulses for speech. The influence of his daemon results in speech being misused in many and various ways.”

Rudolf Steiner

Mars will unite forces with Jupiter and Uranus which are already standing before Taurus. A conjunction of Mars, Jupiter and Uranus standing before Taurus brings a potent opportunity for action, expansion and creativity down to earth with Taurus’ steadfast, practical nature. Mars activates passion, desire, action; Jupiter activates growth, opportunity, development; Uranus activates genius, transformation and invention. Standing before Taurus this trinity of planets fosters major resource transformations materially and spiritually, practical innovations brought forth from genius, and rapid development. It asks for fresh ideas and provides the resources, ground and stability to steadily remain focused on long term goals while savoring life’s comforts. In our will to work may we hold faith in the spirit to which we all carry within and without as our guiding and providing ‘Good Star’.

I received an email this morning that inspired me and thought I would share it with you from ‘We were Born Free 2 Fly’;
“I came across a sermon by Charles Spurgeon awhile back and this portion stuck with me in what it says about steady faithfulness:
“Look at the ploughman; he labours with his plough in the wintry months, when there is not a bough on the tree nor a bird that sings to cheer him, and after he has ploughed he takes the precious corn from the granary, of which perhaps he hath little enough, and he buries it in the furrows, assured that it will come up again. Because he has seen a harvest fifty times already he looks for another, and in faith he scatters the precious grain. To all appearance, the most absurd thing that ever was done by mortal man is to throw away good corn, burying it in the ground.
If you had never seen or heard of its results, it would seem the way of waste and not the work of husbandry; yet the farmer has no doubt, he longs to be allowed to cast away his seed, in faith he even covets fair weather that he may bury his corn; and if you tell him that he is doing an absurd thing, he smiles at your ignorance, and tells you that thus harvests come.”
For those faithfully toiling away in obscurity, your work matters. It may feel like winter, with no growth in sight, but find your row to hoe, keep your hand steady to the plow, and one foot in front of the other.

I leave you with this verse by Rudolf Steiner;

To Wonder at Beauty

To wonder at beauty
Stand guard over truth
Look up to the noble
Resolve on the good.
This leadeth us truly
To purpose in living
To right in our doing,
To peace in our thinking
And teaches us trust
In the workings of God,
In all that there is
In the widths of the world,
In the depths of the soul.

Rudolf Steiner

Kassandra
