On this New Moon standing before Pisces we have a solar eclipse happening as well. The Moon’s orbit has an inclination to the ecliptic plane of 5.145°. The ecliptic plane is the Sun’s path as it’s observed from the Earth. The points at which the orbital paths of the sun and the moon intersect are called lunar nodes. Because the moon completes an orbit around the earth in 27 days, 7 hours, and 43 minutes, in this period it intersects the sun’s orbital path twice, one time in a northerly direction called the north or ascending lunar node, and a half-month later in a southerly direction called the south or descending node. When the orbital paths of the Sun and the Moon intersect it allows for eclipses to occur.
As I shared previously we have also standing before Pisces; Neptune, Venus, the North Node, Moon, and Chiron, with Mercury retrograde at 29 degrees Pisces. The Sun is also semi-sextile (30 degrees) away from Jupiter in Aries, Spiritual Hierarchies of the Logos, Lamb of God, who is ready to conjunct (meet directly April 20, 2024) in a rare alignment with Uranus for the first time since 2011!
In Pisces, we have the Tenth Spiritual Hierarchy, Spirits of Freedom and Love, our higher human nature. In Pisces dedication to our spiritual and soul development is at hand. A virtue of Pisces is “magnanimity becomes love”. In the 13th Century Thomas Aquinas said, “Magnanimity by its very name denotes the stretching forth of the soul to great things.” A quote commonly attributed to St. Teresa of Calcutta, “I don’t do great things. I do small things with great love”. From these two quotes alone we can see the blessings that are on offer with this new Moon….

Venus is exalted in Pisces, she is the best of herself. She offers loving devotion, quality of heart, ‘love-bearing beauty…’

sensitivity to others, ‘with the moon’s might…’
Chiron offers us a deep spiritual journey of healing and transformation.
Mercury is retrograde here for now. Mercury offers psychic awareness and quality of mind, although to note there may be some fog or mist clouding the clarity of communication. Mercury also is a healer and offers healing upon our journey.

The solar eclipse opportunities over the next 6 months or more, will guide us if we have the eyes to see and ears to hear this guidance for our soul, spiritual development and evolution.
