The full Moon happened in Sagittarius (where it is when you look up into the real sky) today, at approximately 3:40pm ADT. Sagittarius (the dwelling place of the Archai, the Spiritual Beings of Personality) was at one time considered to be a Satyr;
“Some doubted that this was a centaur at all, among them Eratosthenes who gave as one of his reasons the fact that centaurs did not use bows. Instead, Eratosthenes described Sagittarius as a two-legged creature with the tail of a satyr. He said that this figure was Crotus, son of Eupheme, the nurse to the Muses, who were nine daughters of Zeus. The Roman mythographer Hyginus in his Fabulae added the information that the father of Crotus was Pan, agreeing with Eratosthenes that the archer was a satyr rather than a centaur.
Crotus was said to have invented archery and often went hunting on horseback. He lived on Mount Helicon among the Muses, who enjoyed his company. They sang for him, and he applauded them loudly. The Muses requested that Zeus place him among the stars, where he is seen demonstrating the art of archery. In the sky he was given the hind legs of a horse because he was a keen horseman.”

Consider this outwardly visible image of Sagittarius – Beings of Personality, half human, half animal. The Human wishes to stand upright, come into vertical position, from early on. The animal is horizontal, instinctual. This is an inner struggle in human beings, human vertical forces and animal horizontal forces vie for the lead position. For every individual the victory of the human vertical forces of uprightness is given by the Grace of the Spiritual Beings of Personality, who helps us to stand upright upon the Earth.
As the Moon has just passed through Scorpio/Ophiuchus and the Galactic Centre, I wonder what is illuminated for us in this passing through the healing and transformative power of Scorpio/Ophiuchus, the Spiritual Beings of Form? What has been conceived in this Eclipse season?
The Archer points to the Galactic Centre. Is he showing the way to where transformation, healing may occur, possibly a new birth, something conceived? Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, the Spiritual Being who works in the Present and is currently retrograde in Aquarius, is sextile to this Moon. Are we granted the gift to stand upright as an individual, responsible, free Human Being? We may also hold the consideration of Greece’s Zeus toRome’s Jupiter. The active forces of thinking…Zeus’ Lightening Bolt… The active forces of thinking… the arrow set in motion in the bow of the Archer. A bigger vision perhaps, a new perspective? Is the Galactic Centre the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning, the end?
What and If are two harmless words, however when you place them beside one another they can be quite illuminating and ask us to delve into the deepest recesses of our Being to find an answer…. which may or may not be an illusion…. What if the active forces of thinking (Sagittarius-Archai) for the uprightness and evolution of Humanity are pointing to the Galactic Centre and/or the Spirits of Form – The Exusiai, Scorpio/Ophiuchus to reveal a mystery? Today, on the day of St. John’s could we be supported in this revelation? Venus and Mars are now in Cancer, the Spiritual Beings of the Harmonies, the Cherubim.
This morning I awoke wishing to work more with the ancient Solfeggio Frequencies I have been using in my healing journey and found a video of a lion roaring, communicating with his environment. Did you know a lions roar can be heard for up to 5 miles?! The writing accompanying where I found the video, mentioned the alignment of this primal roar to the sacral chakra, the present center of birth and procreation. However, the sound of the roar, the harmonies of the roar, I clearly felt in my throat! The larynx, as I have previously mentioned, is the future organ of birth, the future organ of procreation in the human being. Mars in Cancer wishes to establish home, security, family. Mars also may be thought of as ennobled speech in its primal form. Venus in Cancer reveals the Divine Natural world of our family – mysteries/secrets, conceived than birthed out from the Earth before us all to behold, nurturing, healing, beautifully speaking to our hearts. Words are powerful, procreative Beings, each word has a Light and a Shadow side. What are we creating with our Words, in our speech?
Rudolf Steiner shares this;
“At Easter we have the complete picture only when we bring it into dramatic form, with Raphael present as a teacher in the Mystery Play that would have then to be presented; Raphael who leads man into the secrets of healing nature, of the healing cosmos. In a similar way, at St. John’s time, all that can then be seen in weaving pictures would have to be transposed into powerful music, so that the cosmic Mystery, as it can be experienced by man at this season of St. John, would speak to our hearts.”
What if the Cosmic Healing offered to us on this day is to live into a healthy integration with the beauty and goodness lovingly revealed in the natural world; that includes Human Beings? Live into the form, function and environment.
Sing something into creation, what are you singing into creation?
As a collective what is being created? Is it harmonious healthy integration?
What is the fullness of the Moon pregnant with? In Sagittarius a new vision, a bigger vision?
What is the opening of the Galactic Centre, what is the Archer pointing to?
