This evening we enter into a perceived Mercury retrograde at approximately 7:34pm ADT. Mercury the Messenger is the name of the Roman god and also the Greek god, Hermes. He is the god of sales, liars and thieves, he is clever and fun loving. Mercury represents the mind and its use. When Mercury is retrograde conscious control of the mind is slightly loosened. How do you perceive the world and interact with it, how does the world perceive you? The brain, nervous system, thinking subjective and objective, writing, speech, communication, siblings, neighours, analysis synthesis, all governed by Mercury. Mercury is the ruling sign of two zodiac signs Gemini, dwelling place of the Spiritual Beings of LOVE, and Virgo, dwelling place of the Spiritual Beings of Wisdom.
Interesting, LOVE and Wisdom. Tonight (May 29) Venus and Mercury are very close to one another, 17 degrees from the Sun, where freedom becomes a luminous reality in the universe. What will they be chatting about? Are there deep secrets, mysteries they are ready to reveal to humanity which further support man’s high calling in the universe, spirit-radiance!
Above, you see a reference model of the perceived Mercury orbiting the Sun as the Sun orbits the Earth (the center). Allow your Imagination to take hold and reveal this portrayal, it is truly a work of Divine Art. Perceived Mercury, rhythmical and restless, dances around the Sun, sometimes close to Earth, sometimes far away. When on the outer rim of the Sun, Mercury is further from the Earth. When perceived Mercury is in the inner rim of the Sun, between Earth and the Sun, perceived Mercury is close to the Earth. Recall, give and receive? Perceived Mercury gives to us, supports us, guides us, in all Mercurial matters. Currently Mercury and Venus are in Taurus (sidereal real sky astrology), the dwelling of the Spiritual Beings of the Holy Spirit, perceived Mercury (after the Venus/Sun meet up) will come closer to the Earth and from the Earth look like it may be going backwards (retrograde) over the next few weeks. Ready? Imagine as a child someone most beloved to you, holding your hand, helping you along the way, hoping you have paid attention, receiving all they have gifted you with, so when they let go of your hand you have gleaned the Wisdom and LOVE they have shared with you and you have the fortitude, strength, Wisdom and LOVE to not just survive but thrive on the journey until you meet with them again. Perceived Mercury during the retrograde will let go of our hand. Our hand will be rejoined with perceived Mercury when it is again in direct motion, June 22 (although there is a shadow period of approximately a week reorienting). This is an offered Imagination of Mercury Retrograde.
With Mercury and Venus close to the Sun in Taurus, and perceived Mercury at a pause, these friends share a moment to communicate, give and receive messages, that may be passed onto humanity. What loving wisdom will they share? Mercury in Taurus may learn by doing, developing skills, and have artistic and musical gifts. Can we see the Divine Spirit in the Artistic landscape of the Earth? Can we hear the Divine Spirit in the music of the natural world, waking up in Springs harmonies? When we do have the eyes to see and the ears to hear, how may we further develop these skills for good thoughts, good words and good deeds?
Over the past month while perceived Mercury has been in the dwelling of the Holy Spirit what have we be given, received and digested/metabolized? What through Whitsuntide and the Eclipse of the Moon have we surrendered and received? What messages of Inspiration have been gifted to you, that now the plan may be redone, revisited, reworked, refined, reclaimed?
