The dark skies, due to our luminary the Moon coming into its New ethos, will allow us to bask in the glory of the starry skies. This New Moon in Aquarius (sidereal-visible sky) is nestled between Saturn (In Aquarius) and Neptune, with Mercury now joining the evening sky in the west, very close to Neptune in Pisces. Aquarius’ Spiritual Hierarchy are the Angels, Spirits of Life. The Moon also hosts the Angels as a Spiritual Hierarchy. There is an opportunity here to connect with our Angels in deep inward contemplation (a gift from Saturn who is the emissary of Aquarius). The virtue Aquarius offers is “to know”, discretion that leads to strength of mind, allowing the human being through universal wisdom to restore to balance. From the Moon we receive our “quality of temperament, heredity and personal destiny”, it is the cosmic mirror, offering the capacity for creativity, inner reflections, a maternal Grace. Neptune offers a mystical yearning with an obligation to the whole, our dreams, our inspiration. Mercury close by as the messenger seeks to gather and share knowledge, from Mercury we receive our quality of mind, (our ability to think and reason).
I imagine the Moon as it wanders through the cosmos, the wise Mother nurturing humanity gathering cosmic reflections gleaned from Saturn like the capacity for deep inward contemplation, and cosmic memory that the Angels may then imbue into our thinking. In what capacity this sharing may be manifest in your own unique cosmic inheritance, your natal birth chart, depends upon what house they are passing through. As the Moon and Saturn share with us this introspection and reflection we may then through natural evolution bear new wisdom, new thinking, new feeling, new will. As the Moon carries forth through the cosmos a sharing of these reflections, inner contemplations, and personal destinies to Neptune and Mercury in turn may gift us with the quality of mind to awaken consciously to our dreams, our obligation to the whole, a strength of mind to communicate clearly what we wish to do!
